
Guy Webster - Composer | Sound Designer | Producer | Artist
Guy Webster is a composer, sound designer, producer and artist working across the mediums of theatre, dance, sound art, installation and new media. His broad body of work has featured in theatres, festivals, live music venues, galleries and conferences throughout Australia, Japan, Europe, UK, USA and China while his live performances have seen him share the stage with the likes of Beth Orton, Ed Harcourt, Powderfinger, The Cruel Sea, Mad Professor and Sarah Blasko.
Guy trained and worked as a dancer & choreographer early in his professional early career while developing his practice as a composer and musician. Within a few years his focus turned towards sculpture and sound to create original instruments and interactive performance works. This refined spacial sensitivity and unique approach to performance led to his initial work as a composer for theatre. He has since worked with many companies and independent artists including Qld Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, La Boite Theatre Company, Shake & Stir Theatre, The Brisbane Festival, Backbone Youth Arts, State Library of Qld, Out of the Box Festival, Lisa O’Neill, Goat Track Theatre, Stella Electrika, Wilde Applause, Red Shoes.
Guy is also a core and founding member of the new media performance and installation group, The Transmute Collective (1998-2009), whose work, Intimate Transactions received an honorary mention in the 2005 Prix Ars Electronica and featured in numerous galleries and festivals including ICA (London), National Art Museum of China (Beijing), The Performance Space (Sydney) and ACMI (Melbourne), BIOS (Athens).
Guy’s unique compositions utilize traditional vocal and instrumental works combined with field recordings, original instruments and an adventurous approach to production to create new experiences through immersive sound design.

Joel Myles - Producer | Mix Engineer | Songwriter
Joel Myles is a music producer, mix engineer and singer-songwriter from Brisbane. Joel has over 20 years experience in the music industry, he understands the process behind writing, collaboration, performance and the importance of the emotional connection in the music he records and mixes. He has the ability to work in a wide range of genres from electronic pop, rock, psychedelic rock, grunge and metal, always getting the absolute best from the artist.

Joel continues to perform live and has had a successful career in various rock bands (RVLR, Nightwoods) and his solo project (Joel Myles) over the last 20 years. He has opened for Wolfmother, The Living End, Thirsty Merc, Karnivool, Shihad, played main stage at Splendour In The Grass and received commercial radio airplay.
Joel studied at the Griffith Conservatorium of Music on the Gold Coast, obtaining a Bachelor Of Popular Music with Honours in 2017.

Cody McWaters - Producer | Engineer | Mix Engineer | Musician
Under the mentorship of ARIA award-winning producer, Doug Roberts (INXS, John Farnham, Boom Crash Opera), Cody spent his formative years gaining an insight into a range of production approaches and the importance of nurturing musical relationships that play a strong role in developing the sound of emerging artists.
With a talent for understanding and developing artists’ sounds, Cody has established himself as a leading engineer and producer in the Brisbane area, working closely with the likes of King Stingray, Selfish Sons, and Osaka Punch. His relaxed and easygoing approach provides a calm atmosphere in any creative environment, allowing artists to create and explore comfortably, resulting in the best musical outcome.

SHAYNE COOK | PRODUCER | ENGINEER | SONGWRITER | ARTIST
Shayne Cook is a Brisbane-bred, Melbourne-based songwriter / producer . He is the founder of Hunting Ground Studios. He has studied production under master of his craft Simon Moro ( Allday, Stonefox, Anthony Callea) Simon himself studying under Michael Brauer (Coldplay, The Kooks, Grizzly Bear)
Shayne collaborates with other artists as a co-writer, producer and engineer. His musical influences are vast and finding what is unique to the artist and the sound that represents this what is most important. This is what the world needs to hear.
Working predominately Brisbane and Melbourne has seen Shayne involved in a wide range of production/ engineering ranging diverse genres (Menaka Thomas , Elena, Fumarole) with artists receiving radio rotation, award acclaim and label signings. The creation of Hunting Ground Live channel ( co engineering ) has seen many local acts have another string in the bow of their career ( Hope D, Asha Jefferies, Mcdermott and North, Selfish sons)
Shayne also writes and produces under his own own musical projects - both solo and co-write.

Chrispy Lait - Producer | Mix Engineer | Songwriter | Artist
Head Atlas producer, engineer, guitarist and beyond, Chrispy is a jack of all trades who lives and breathes music. Whether shredding onstage, crafting a song or beefing up a mix, Chrispy’s extensive experience and passion for innovation makes him an undeniable asset for any creative project.
Chrispy was at the helm of the mix of the latest Hazards Of Swimming Naked record.
Chrispy also currently divides his time as resident axe-slinger for Brisbane’s formidable prog powerhouse Osaka Punch which has seen him play Big Day Out, Sounds of Spring and supports for the likes of The Butterfly Effect, Cog, Mammal, Twelve Foot Ninja and Dead Letter Circus amongst many others.
In between his hectic Osaka Punch touring schedule, Chrispy immerses himself in the projects of the artists he works with, imparting the invaluable and diverse skills he’s learned along the way to enhance the tracking experience and capture first-rate performances.

Dan Sugars - Music Composer | Producer of Audio | Haiku Specialist.
For the last 2 decades, Dan Sugars (or the melodic chomper to some) has been a music producer, sound engineer, and composer, with a huge passion for music in computer games and producing local Brisbane bands and artists. He’s also an in-demand audio production lecturer and moonlights as a synth-wave artist under the alias; ‘Deja Suugs’.
Some of his work has achieved nominations for songwriting awards, Triple J radio airplay, hundreds of thousands of streams, and international licensing contracts for the likes of National Geographic, Wrangler Jeans, and Billabong.
As a resident producer at Hunting Ground Studios, Dan can help bring your next sonic idea to life, incorporating a whacky sense of humour, and some of the most vibey analogue and state-of-the-art digital equipment around.

Jono Frowd - Producer | Engineer | Mix Engineer | Multi-Instrumentalist
Jono Frowd is a Brisbane based music producer, recording engineer, mix engineer and multi-instrumentalist.
A motivated, dedicated, and creative producer. This paired with his proficiency on guitar, drums, and keyboards give him the ability to craft your sound with an intuition for your creative direction. A fan of a diverse range of music, he has the ability to produce many styles including rock, pop, metal, psychedelic, punk, indie & fusion. His skill set and work ethic will make good bands sound like great bands, and great bands sound like legends.
After a hefty stint doing live sound for a majority of Brisbane's favourite venues (Tomcat, Black Bear Lodge, The Brightside) he has transitioned seamlessly into the studio environment and immediately made his mark recording many locals bands best efforts to date.
Examples of Jono’s work include The Baby Breaks, Tripsitta, Ban Solo, Reckless Coast, Fleur Fatale, Monstera, Max Bader & The Upstairs Neighbours & Loose Fittings.
